Assistant Maintenance Technician - Property Management

Location: San Francisco, CA 94107

Schedule : Monday through friday

Pay : $26-$27 per hour

We are a growing property management company focused on providing safe, clean, and well‑maintained homes for our residents. Our maintenance team is the backbone of our communities, and we’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting
• Support make‑ready operations: painting, cleaning, minor repairs, and unit punch‑list completion
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Help maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance shop organization
• Perform preventative maintenance as directed by the Lead Maintenance Technician
• Identify and report safety hazards, needed repairs, and supply shortages
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, make‑ready, construction, or related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair techniques
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude and team‑oriented work ethic
