Leasing Consultant – Property Management

Location: El Cerrito, CA 94530

Schedule: Monday through friday

Compensation: $24 per hour

About the Role

We’re looking for an energetic, customer‑focused Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. This role is all about creating a welcoming experience for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process, and supporting daily office operations. If you enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this position is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, provide tours, and highlight community features
• Respond to phone, email, and walk‑in inquiries promptly and professionally
• Assist applicants with leasing paperwork, applications, and screening requirements
• Maintain accurate records, files, and daily reports
• Support marketing efforts, including online listings and community outreach
• Build strong relationships with current and future residents
• Assist with resident events, renewals, and general office tasks
• Ensure the leasing office remains clean, organized, and welcoming

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, friendly, and confident demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Basic computer skills (Yardi, RealPage, or similar software a plus)
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
