Make Ready Technician – $17/hr (Contract Role)

Join a busy apartment community where you’ll help prepare units for new residents and keep the property looking its best. This role is perfect for someone who’s hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and ready to support both make‑ready and porter operations.

Job Description

• Prepare and refresh vacant units for move‑in
• Perform basic repairs: light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance tasks
• Complete cleaning, touch‑ups, and punch‑list work
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and trash routes
• Assist maintenance team with work orders when needed

Required Skills

• Previous make‑ready or apartment maintenance experience
• Ability to complete unit turns from start to finish
• Experience with light repairs, painting, and cleaning
• Knowledge of basic tools, equipment, and safety practices
• Must have own tools
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and stay organized

Preferred Skills

• Multifamily experience
• Familiarity with basic HVAC or appliance troubleshooting
