Affordable Housing Property Manager

Location: Columbus, OH 43219

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (Closed Weekends)

BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Affordable Housing Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a thriving apartment community in Columbus, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable property management professional who excels in resident relations, team leadership, occupancy management, compliance, and community operations.

The ideal candidate will have prior Property Manager experience, affordable housing knowledge, and a proven ability to successfully manage all aspects of a multifamily community while delivering exceptional service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily property operations and supervise onsite staff
• Manage leasing activities, lease renewals, rent collections, and resident relations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, affordable housing requirements, and community standards
• Prepare financial reports, monitor budgets, and analyze property performance
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services
• Maintain accurate resident files, certifications, recertifications, and property documentation
• Support marketing initiatives designed to increase traffic, occupancy, and resident retention
• Address resident concerns promptly and professionally while providing excellent customer service
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure the community maintains high standards
• Lead and support onsite staff to promote operational excellence and resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous Property Manager experience required
• Affordable Housing experience preferred
• Ability to effectively manage property operations, staff, and resident needs
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and affordable housing compliance programs
• Proficiency with property management software required
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, rent collection, and occupancy management
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
