BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Porter/Groundskeeper to join a busy apartment community in Columbus, OH 43232. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and are looking for a flexible part-time schedule.

Schedule Options

• Tuesday & Friday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM OR
• Tuesday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview

As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the apartment community. You will help ensure residents and visitors experience a clean, safe, and attractive property by assisting with groundskeeping, community upkeep, and light maintenance support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds, breezeways, sidewalks, and common areas
• Pick up and remove trash and debris throughout the property
• Clean and maintain the clubhouse and other shared community spaces
• Assist with landscaping, lawn care, and exterior property upkeep
• Perform power washing of breezeways, walkways, and exterior surfaces as needed
• Support the maintenance team with general property tasks
• Prepare vacant apartment homes by removing trash and assisting with light cleaning
• Monitor the property for cleanliness and report any concerns to site management
• Help create a positive living environment for residents through consistent property upkeep

Qualifications

• Previous porter, groundskeeper, landscaping, janitorial, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to walk the property for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
