Certified Maintenance Technician

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Maintenance Technician to join a premier apartment community in Sterling, VA 20165. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with strong HVAC knowledge and apartment maintenance experience who takes pride in delivering quality work and exceptional resident service.

As a Certified Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the community's apartments, buildings, and grounds while ensuring service requests are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills and expertise across multiple maintenance disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Complete plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair household appliances
• Perform carpentry work, drywall repairs, painting, and general maintenance
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparations
• Help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the property
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and management teams

Qualifications

• EPA Certification or HVAC Certification required
• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Must provide and maintain your own tools

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 1-Hour Lunch Break
• $25.00 per hour
