BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Make-Ready Technician to join our team in Frederick, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with apartment maintenance experience who take pride in preparing vacant units for new residents and ensuring communities are maintained to the highest standards.

As a Make-Ready Technician, you will play a key role in turning vacant apartment homes into move-in-ready residences by completing repairs, performing general maintenance tasks, and ensuring each unit meets quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment units for new resident move-ins
• Complete punch-list items and make-ready tasks efficiently and accurately
• Perform basic maintenance repairs, including:
  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Drywall repairs and touch-ups
  • Painting and cleaning
  • Appliance checks and minor repairs
• Replace fixtures and hardware as needed
• Ensure units meet company and property standards before occupancy
• Report maintenance concerns and supply needs to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with general property maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or make-ready experience preferred
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Dress Code

• Black bottoms
• Black shirt/top
• No writing, logos, or graphics on shirt
• Closed-toe work shoes or work boots required
