BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a professional multifamily community in Dayton, OH 45458. We are looking for a dependable, skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and helping maintain a safe, attractive, and well-functioning apartment community.

This position is ideal for candidates with previous apartment maintenance experience who are comfortable handling a variety of service requests, unit turns, and general property maintenance responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes and community facilities while providing excellent customer service to residents.

Key duties include:

• Complete daily work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues throughout the property
• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks
• Complete basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
• Perform electrical diagnostics and minor electrical repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair household appliances
• Complete carpentry projects, drywall repairs, painting, and general upkeep
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparation
• Ensure vacant units are move-in ready according to company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and property upkeep
• Respond to maintenance concerns with a customer-service-focused attitude

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience is required
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions and repair techniques
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and carpentry
• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• Own tools are required
