Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in preserving the appearance, functionality, and overall quality of the property. You will assist with routine maintenance repairs, apartment turns, preventative maintenance tasks, and the upkeep of community grounds and common areas.

Your work will directly contribute to resident satisfaction and the successful operation of the apartment community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks in occupied and vacant apartments
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready projects
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain and repair fixtures, locks, doors, appliances, and other property components
• Support upkeep of community amenities and common areas
• Ensure grounds remain clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Identify maintenance concerns and report issues appropriately
• Follow company safety procedures and property standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service when interacting with residents and team members

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, building maintenance, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair techniques
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials as needed
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Work Attire Requirements

Maintenance Staff Must Wear:

• Steel-Toed Boots
• Utility Pants / Appropriate Workwear
