Position Overview

As an Apartment Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the face of the community and one of the first points of contact for prospective residents. Your ability to provide exceptional service, effectively communicate community features, and guide prospects through the leasing process will play a key role in the property's success.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, professional, and motivated to deliver outstanding customer experiences while helping maintain strong occupancy levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist prospective residents in person, over the phone, and through email correspondence
• Conduct engaging property tours and showcase apartment homes and community amenities
• Explain pricing, availability, lease terms, and community policies
• Manage prospect follow-up activities and convert leads into new residents
• Process rental applications and assist with lease preparation and execution
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident records
• Support resident retention efforts and lease renewals
• Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach programs
• Address resident inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous leasing, apartment industry, sales, customer service, hospitality, or related experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective residents
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using property management software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
