BG Staffing is seeking a professional, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join a well-established apartment community in Pittsburgh, PA 15220. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for residents and prospective tenants.
With 148 apartment homes in the community, this role requires someone who can confidently balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Position Overview
As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. Your ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service will play a key role in the success of the community. The ideal candidate is organized, patient, adaptable, and enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15220
- Dress Code: Business Casual
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents in a professional and welcoming manner
- Conduct apartment tours and showcase community amenities
- Build positive relationships with current and prospective residents
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and resident inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process applications, leases, renewals, and related documentation
- Maintain accurate resident and prospect records
- Assist with resident retention initiatives and customer service requests
- Support daily leasing office operations and administrative tasks
- Work effectively in a busy environment while managing multiple priorities
- Represent the community with professionalism and enthusiasm
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, leasing, property management, hospitality, or sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented personality
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Patience and professionalism when interacting with a diverse resident population
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and office software
- Pennsylvania Real Estate License is a plus, but not required
