Porter / Groundskeeper – Property Management

Compensation: $16-$17 Per hour

About the Role

We’re looking for a hardworking and dependable Porter/Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of our residential community. This role is essential to creating a welcoming environment for current and future residents. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and taking pride in a clean property, this position is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of all outdoor areas, including:
  • Sidewalks, parking lots, breezeways, stairwells, and common areas
  • Pool areas, courtyards, and community amenities
• Remove trash and debris from grounds and dumpsters throughout the day
• Assist with light landscaping tasks such as:
  • Sweeping, blowing leaves, trimming shrubs, pulling weeds
• Clean and maintain exterior lighting, signage, and property fixtures
• Support maintenance team with unit turns and special projects as needed
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual activity
• Ensure the property always looks clean, safe, and resident‑ready

Qualifications

• Previous porter, groundskeeping, or janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
