Make Ready Technician – Property Management

Location: San Antonio, TX 78217

Job Type: Full-Time/ Monday through friday

Pay: $18-$19 per hour

About the Role

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician to join our property management team. This role is essential to ensuring our rental homes and apartments are clean, functional, and move‑in ready for new residents. Key Responsibilities

• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, including:
  • Basic repairs (patching, painting, caulking, touch-ups)
  • Minor plumbing and electrical fixes
  • Appliance checks and replacements as needed
  • Light carpentry and hardware installation
• Perform cleaning and unit preparation to company standards
• Identify and report major maintenance issues
• Ensure all work is completed on schedule to meet move-in deadlines
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Assist maintenance team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous make-ready, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
