Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician - Property Management

Location: Cuero, TX 77954

Schedule : Monday through friday

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team and support daily maintenance operations across our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine and emergency maintenance requests
• Perform repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems (within certification scope)
• Complete unit turns, including painting, minor carpentry, and fixture replacement
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and building exteriors
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify safety or maintenance issues
• Support senior maintenance staff with larger projects
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and property management policies

Qualifications

• Maintenance certification (EPA, HVAC, or equivalent preferred)
• 1+ year of property maintenance or related experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and customer‑service oriented
