Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician – Property Management

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay: $24-$25 per hour

Location: Olathe, KS 66062

We’re looking for a skilled, dependable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations and ensure our community stays safe, functional, and well‑maintained. If you have maintenance experience and hold a relevant certification (EPA, HVAC, CPO, or similar), we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

• Complete work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks
• Assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance troubleshooting
• Perform unit turns, including painting, minor repairs, and cleaning
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with special projects and inspections
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment rooms
• Respond to resident maintenance requests with professionalism and urgency
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed
• Ensure safety standards and compliance procedures are followed

What You Bring

• Maintenance certification required (EPA Type I/II, HVAC, CPO, or equivalent)
• Experience in apartment or facility maintenance preferred
• Strong understanding of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
