BG Staffing is actively seeking a motivated and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team immediately in Bridgeton, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or expand their career in property maintenance—even without certifications.

Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall condition and appearance of the property. You’ll be responsible for completing work orders, assisting with day-to-day upkeep, and supporting the maintenance team to ensure residents enjoy a safe, clean, and well-maintained community.

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Lunch: 30-minute break included
• Pay Rate: $21 per hour
• Start Date: Immediate openings available

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner
• Perform general repairs such as basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting
• Assist with porter duties and maintain property grounds (cleanliness, trash removal, curb appeal)
• Support the maintenance team with ongoing property needs and projects
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Help maintain a welcoming and professional environment for residents and guests

Qualifications

• Previous apartment or general maintenance experience preferred
• No certifications required – we’re open to training the right candidate
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently while also functioning well as part of a team
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable performing physical work and being on your feet throughout the day
