Commercial Maintenance Technician

Location: New Castle, DE

Salary: $29–$33/hour

Are you a highly skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician with strong experience in carpentry, asphalt repairs, roofing, and general building maintenance? We are seeking a dependable, hands-on professional to support commercial properties and exterior facility operations in the New Castle, DE area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, can work independently, and enjoys solving maintenance and repair issues in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform commercial property maintenance and repair work across multiple sites
• Complete carpentry repairs including framing, doors, trim, fencing, drywall, and general exterior repairs
• Repair and maintain asphalt surfaces including patchwork, crack filling, and preventative maintenance coordination
• Conduct roofing inspections, minor roof repairs, leak troubleshooting, and vendor coordination as needed
• Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing repairs including leaks, fixtures, drains, and piping issues
• Perform preventative maintenance to maintain safety and property appearance
• Identify repair needs and coordinate larger projects with outside contractors when necessary
• Maintain work orders, tools, equipment, and maintenance records
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently while following company standards
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and urgent repair requests as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in carpentry, asphalt, roofing, and commercial building maintenance required
• Basic plumbing troubleshooting and repair experience required
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with vendors and contractors preferred
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused mindset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Clean driving record required
• Reliable transportation required
