BG Staffing is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to start ASAP at a residential property in Jeannette, PA. This is a long-term temporary assignment covering an employee on leave, with an open-ended duration (approximately 4–12+ weeks).

This role is ideal for someone with basic maintenance experience who is reliable, ready to work, and comfortable handling day-to-day service requests in a property setting.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Assignment Length: Temporary (4–12+ weeks, based on business need)
• Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities

• Complete basic work orders in a timely manner
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as:
  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Lightbulb replacement
  • Air filter changes
  • Routine upkeep and minor repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional property environment
• Communicate effectively with property staff and residents

On-Call Requirements

• Participation in a rotational on-call schedule is required
• On-call expectations will be reviewed prior to start
• Adjusted on-call protocol: Minimum 2-hour pay per call-out (instead of standard 4-hour minimum)

Qualifications

• Previous general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and property maintenance
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
