Make Ready Technician – Property Management

Location: Independence, MO 64055

Schedule: M-F

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant units for new residents. This role ensures apartments are clean, functional, and move‑in ready.

Responsibilities

• Complete make‑ready tasks including cleaning, painting, repairs, and unit preparation
• Inspect units and identify needed repairs or replacements
• Perform basic maintenance such as minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• Ensure all appliances and fixtures are in working order
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist maintenance team as needed

Requirements

• Previous make‑ready or property maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of general repairs and unit turns
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
