Assistant Maintenance Technician – Property Management

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay: $21-$22 per hour

Location: Kansas City, KS 66102

We’re hiring a dependable, hands‑on Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations across our community. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with your hands, and helping residents feel at home, this role is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with work orders, repairs, and general maintenance tasks
• Support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance troubleshooting
• Complete unit turns, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Help maintain the property’s grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Respond to resident maintenance requests with professionalism
• Assist with emergency/on‑call maintenance as needed
• Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are organized and safe

What You Bring

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
