BG Staffing is actively seeking two highly skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team. Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring apartment homes are well-maintained, safe, and move-in ready. This position requires a strong understanding of general maintenance practices along with the ability to complete work efficiently and professionally.

We are looking for individuals who bring a combination of technical expertise and reliability, with the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete general maintenance service requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and final inspections
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative upkeep of property systems
• Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and appliances
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and industry standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in proper condition
• Communicate effectively with property management staff regarding job status and material needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Apartment Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
• Strong skills in plumbing and carpentry highly preferred
• Well-rounded experience in:
  • Electrical systems
  • Appliance repair
  • General maintenance troubleshooting
• HVAC certification is a strong plus
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
• Full-time, stable weekday schedule
