BG Staffing is seeking a skilled, certified, and highly self‑motivated Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Tampa, FL (33611). This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, manage a steady workload, and deliver high‑quality maintenance service with minimal supervision.

Position Details

• Role: Certified Maintenance Technician
• Location: Tampa, FL 33611
• Pay: $21–$22/hr (based on experience and certifications)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM
• Start Date: May 14, 2026
• Opportunity Type: Contract‑to‑Hire

Responsibilities

• Complete 6–7 work orders per day with accuracy and professionalism
• Perform advanced maintenance tasks, including:
  • HVAC troubleshooting and repairs (if certified)
  • Electrical and plumbing diagnostics
  • Appliance repair and replacement
  • Carpentry, drywall, and general building upkeep
• Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Use your personal device to access and complete work orders through the AppFolio app
• Use your own vehicle to travel around the property as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards

Requirements

• Maintenance certification required (EPA, HVAC, or equivalent)
• Strong apartment maintenance experience
• Must be a self‑starter who can work independently and stay productive
• Ability to complete 6–7 work orders daily
• Must download and use the AppFolio app on a personal device
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle for onsite use
• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Strong communication and customer service skills
