Janitor (Part‑Time, Weekdays Only)

Pay: $15-$16/hr (Weekly Pay), based on experience

Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Status: Contract-to-Hire

We’re seeking a reliable Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our community’s buildings and grounds. This role supports daily operations by ensuring common areas, offices, amenities, and vacant units are clean, safe, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean common areas, offices, fitness rooms, laundry rooms, restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and building exteriors.
• Maintain grounds: remove litter, debris, pet waste; clean sidewalks, curbs, parking areas; assist with basic landscaping.
• Clean and prepare vacant apartments.
• Handle trash removal, including trash chutes and dumpster areas.
• Report safety hazards, property damage, or suspicious activity.
• Replace common‑area light bulbs; check smoke alarms and emergency lighting.
• Assist with snow removal when required.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of janitorial or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and basic cleaning equipment.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety‑focused.
