Groundskeeper / Porter – Contract Position

Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Opportunity

BG Staffing is seeking a hardworking and dependable Groundskeeper/Porter for a full‑time contract role in Kernersville, NC. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, keeping communities clean, and supporting daily property operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Remove trash and debris from property and designated areas
• Assist with light cleaning tasks such as sweeping, pressure washing, and tidying shared spaces
• Support maintenance team with basic tasks as needed
• Ensure the property remains welcoming, safe, and well‑kept

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping, porter, or janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to lift and carry moderate weight throughout the day
