Apartment Maintenance Technician

Independence, MO 64055 | Monday–Friday 8am–5pm | $21–$22/hr DOE | Contract

Bring your maintenance skills to a busy apartment community where you’ll support daily operations, complete essential repairs, and help maintain a well‑kept, resident‑focused environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Prepare units for new residents through make‑ready tasks
• Maintain community grounds and common areas
• Support daily maintenance operations to enhance resident satisfaction and occupancy
• Follow all safety standards and Fair Housing compliance

Required Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience
• Ability to perform general repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Own tools required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
