Portfolio Leasing Manager

Pay: $55,000.00 – $63,000.00 per year

Work Location: In‑person

Schedule: Must be available Saturdays (Sunday & Monday off)


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to support a portfolio of high‑end residential properties in the Downtown/Short North area. This role is responsible for driving leasing performance, delivering an exceptional client experience, and supporting consistent occupancy across multiple assets. This is a salaried position (no commissions) and is ideal for someone seeking a long‑term career in leasing and property operations.


Duties

  • Conduct apartment tours and professionally present apartment features, amenities, and neighborhood highlights
  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of assigned buildings, floor plans, pricing, policies, and local market conditions
  • Track competitive inventory, rental trends, and market positioning to support pricing and leasing strategy
  • Prepare lease documentation and coordinate execution in accordance with internal procedures
  • Guide prospective residents through the leasing cycle from inquiry to application approval
  • Collect, review, and process applicant documentation accurately and in compliance with standards and regulations
  • Execute marketing and outreach initiatives to maximize lead flow and achieve occupancy goals
  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for prospects and residents regarding availability, pricing, and property policies

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of residential leasing experience
  • Proven background in property management or real estate administrative roles
  • Experience working with higher‑end or urban apartment communities preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must be available to work Saturdays
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/property management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong client service orientation with a results‑driven mindset
