Assistant Property Manager – Multifamily

Location: Columbus, OH

$24–$30 per hour + Leasing Commissions + Bonuses

Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week

We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of a multifamily community while helping drive occupancy, leasing performance, and resident satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone with leasing or property management experience who enjoys working with residents, supporting a team, and helping a community operate at a high level.

What You’ll Do

• Support leasing efforts including tours, follow-up, and closing new leases
• Assist with lease renewals and resident retention strategies
• Help manage rent collections and delinquency follow-up
• Train and support leasing agents to achieve occupancy goals
• Serve as a key point of contact for resident concerns and resolutions
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely unit turns and move-in readiness
• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day property operations and reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in multifamily property management or leasing
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage leasing, resident relations, and administrative responsibilities
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

✔ $24–$30 per hour

✔ Leasing commissions on new leases and renewals

✔ $2,000 monthly health insurance stipend

✔ $5,000 annual base performance bonus (subject to review)

✔ Annual discretionary performance bonus

The leasing office operates seven days a week, and this role will participate in a rotating weekend schedule based on team coverage.
