Leasing Consultant / Administrative Assistant – LIHTC & HUD | Senior Property | $21/hr | M, W, F | 9 AM–5 PM | Contract

Make a real impact at a senior community by using your LIHTC and HUD expertise! BGSF is seeking a Leasing Consultant or Administrative Assistant with hands‑on affordable housing compliance experience to support leasing, certifications, and office operations.

Job Description

• To complete and process LIHTC and/or HUD certifications/recertifications
• To assist seniors with leasing, paperwork, and resident communication
• To manage applicant files, income verifications, and compliance documents
• To support front office operations and provide quality customer service
• To maintain organized records and assist with audits

Location

San Rafael, CA

Required Skills

• LIHTC and/or HUD experience required
• Hands‑on experience completing certifications/recerts
• Strong administrative and leasing skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with seniors
• Accuracy in file management and document processing
• Knowledge of affordable housing regulations
• Experience with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, Onesite)
• Prior senior‑housing experience
• Understanding of EIV, TICs, file audits, and compliance deadlines
