Our ideal candidate will have one to two years of prior apartment leasing experience, exceptional professionalism, a strong closing ratio, and superb customer service skills.

If you don’t have previous experience with apartments but have transferable skills and a commitment to learn a new industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! We will train!

As a Leasing Specialist, your responsibilities will include engaging potential residents, conduct property tours, and building strong relationships with clients to convert interest into signed leases. We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and has a knack for making genuine connections.

Responsibilities

  • Present apartments/facilities to prospective tenants in a friendly and persuasive manner
  • Assist in discovering suitable tenants
  • Phone, email, and in person correspondence
  • Promote unoccupied units via social media and advertising platforms
  • Provide accurate information on the different features of units and facilities
  • Validate application information and references

Qualifications

Job Requirements/Skills:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and well-rounded time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
  • Hold or be willing to obtain Fair Housing course certification
  • Working knowledge of social media outlets and Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess an ability to work independently and thrive as part of a team
  • Appfolio experience is a plus
