We’re seeking a dynamic Lease-Up Property Manager to lead the successful launch and stabilization of a new multifamily community. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong leadership, leasing, and marketing experience who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operations during the lease-up phase of a new community.
  • Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies to drive occupancy.
  • Hire, train, and lead onsite staff, ensuring excellent customer service and team performance.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects, residents, vendors, and ownership.
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, rent collections, and expense control.
  • Conduct market surveys and adjust pricing/specials to remain competitive.
  • Oversee unit turns, move-ins, and move-outs to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
  • Transition property from lease-up to stabilized operations smoothly.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of property management experience, with at least 1 year in a lease-up environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding occupancy goals.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and motivating teams.
  • Knowledge of leasing, marketing, and resident retention best practices.
  • Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible schedule to meet the demands of a new lease-up community.
