Site Reliability Engineer – Analytics Data Platform

Location: Baltimore City - 2 days on-site per week

We are seeking experienced Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to support the modernization of a critical enterprise data delivery platform. This platform acts as a bridge between internal data products and consumers, and we’re actively evolving its infrastructure, alerting systems, and design practices. This is a hands-on role for individuals who thrive on improving performance, reliability, and observability in complex cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage substantial components of application infrastructure
• Provide triage and support for production and pre-production environments
• Advocate for and enforce sound systems design principles in new development
• Guide engineering teams on infrastructure best practices
• Mentor teams on cloud engineering with an emphasis on reliability
• Expand and refine monitoring and alerting coverage to address gaps and edge cases
• Create and maintain clear documentation for managed systems

Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in core AWS services (EC2, EKS; ECS experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Go
• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code using tools like Git, Ansible, and Terraform
• Familiarity with Prometheus and modern time-series databases
• Ability to collaborate with teams at varying levels of cloud proficiency
