We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our multifamily community. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall curb appeal of the property. The ideal candidate will be a skilled technician, a strong team leader, and committed to delivering excellent resident service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, schedule, and complete resident and management service requests and work orders in a timely manner
  • Perform and oversee maintenance work in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general upkeep
  • Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, and community features to identify and resolve hazards or maintenance issues
  • Monitor and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce repair needs and extend the life of property assets
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop in compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines
  • Monitor inventory and order maintenance supplies within budget limits
  • Supervise and participate in unit make-readies, inspections, and turnovers
  • Manage and participate in the community’s on-call rotation for emergencies
  • Ensure all maintenance team members follow safety protocols and hazard communication standards
  • Obtain and compare bids from vendors, suppliers, and contractors for repairs or supplies
  • Maintain accurate records for work orders, preventative maintenance, EPA/OSHA compliance, and more
  • Train, supervise, and direct maintenance team members and vendors to ensure high-quality work and compliance with timelines

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
  • HVAC and CPO certifications highly preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using maintenance management software and tools
  • Must be willing to work on-call shifts and weekends
