Job Description

Responsible for proactive monitoring and hand-on management of a portfolio of real estate investments/ developments throughout Texas and surrounding states. Duties to include:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (principals, property management, accounting and leasing brokers) to execute strategy for each asset to maximize value

- Formulate cash flow projections in Excel for each asset/project

– provide financial insights to drive operational decision-making

- Oversee preparation of annual budgets, year-end reconciliation, quarterly reforecasts and variance analysis, and quantifications of risks that may impact financial performance

- Review and approve monthly financial reports and ensure timely financial reporting to lenders, investors and principals

- Collaborate with tax protest consultants and insurance advisors

- Analyze and make recommendations on capital projects and leasing costs; monitor capital and leasing reserve escrows, balances and budgets; ensure owner-funded projects are on time and within budget

- Monitor lease administration, tenant renewals, lease-up marketing efforts, market comps

- Assist with transaction closings for financing/refinancing and acquisitions/dispositions

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skyline, proficiency preferred

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

Must have intermediate to advanced MS 365 experience.

Must be proficient with Excel

Proficient in handing multiple projects, understanding priorities when it comes to meeting goals.

Accounting software: MRI a must

Must be able follow direction, working without constant supervision

Must have the ability to take direction and interface with multiple departments

3 years of experience in commercial real estate Asset Management.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree, with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate
