BGSF is representing a quickly growing Distribution and Service organization seeking to hire Senior Staff Accountant.

The position will primarily be responsible for a wide array of corporate accounting functions. The ideal individual will have 2-4 years of true accounting experience and embody a growth-oriented mindset within an entrepreneurial environment. This position will be FULLY onsite Monday-Friday (no exceptions).

Primary Functions:

• Balancing General Ledger Accounts, Posting and Preparing journal entries including adjusting entries, accrual entries
• Account analysis and complex reconciliations, including intercompany general ledger accounts
• Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts
• Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
• Ad-hoc assignments as requested

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (requirement)
• 2-4 years of professional experience
• Prior experience with enterprise business systems is highly preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
