BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Make Ready Technician to join a busy apartment community in Dallas, TX. We are looking for a reliable and skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in preparing apartment homes for new residents and ensuring units are move-in ready.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for upcoming move-ins
• Complete unit turns, including cleaning, repairs, and touch-up work
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
• Replace fixtures, hardware, blinds, locks, and other apartment components
• Install and repair cabinetry, doors, and basic hardware
• Troubleshoot and perform minor appliance repairs
• Complete painting, patching, and general maintenance tasks
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while meeting make-ready deadlines

Requirements

• Previous Make Ready or Apartment Maintenance experience required
• Experience with unit turns in a multifamily housing environment
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Must have your own maintenance tools
