Key Responsibilities
As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the property's functionality, safety, and curb appeal.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the community
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and minor electrical repairs
- Diagnose and repair household appliances
- Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general upkeep
- Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparations
- Help maintain community grounds and overall curb appeal
- Identify maintenance concerns and address them proactively
- Ensure vacant units are move-in ready and meet company standards
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous apartment maintenance experience required
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions
- Experience completing work orders independently
- Knowledge of:
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry and drywall repair
- General apartment maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation
- Own tools required
