We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and skilled maintenance professional who has previous apartment industry experience and can confidently handle both service requests and apartment turns. Position Summary

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the community. You will be responsible for completing resident service requests, preparing vacant units for new move-ins, and addressing maintenance concerns in a timely and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in apartment maintenance and possess the skills needed to work independently while maintaining a high standard of service.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests accurately and efficiently
• Perform apartment make-ready and turn services to prepare units for occupancy
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues throughout the community
• Complete general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Inspect units and identify maintenance concerns before move-in
• Maintain common areas and assist with property upkeep as needed
• Communicate effectively with residents, management, and team members
• Follow company safety protocols and community policies
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while on-site

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience is required
• Strong knowledge of service requests and apartment turns
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Reliable and dependable attendance is essential
• Must have a strong work ethic and ability to manage daily priorities
• Must provide and maintain personal maintenance tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Professional communication and customer service skills

Work Attire Requirements

Candidates must report to work in the following attire:

• Khaki shorts
• Red shirt
• Tennis shoes or work boots

Additional Site Information

• Convenient on-site parking is available
• Technicians will park in the building's parking garage
• A parking pass will be provided while working at the property

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Weekly pay available through BG Staffing
