BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and highly organized Roving Property Manager to support multiple apartment communities throughout North County San Diego. This position is ideal for a confident leader with a strong background in multifamily property management who excels in operations, resident relations, team leadership, and maintaining high occupancy levels across multiple communities.

Position Details

Schedule

Coverage will primarily include communities located in Oceanside, Vista, and San Marcos, with flexibility to rotate among 11 North County properties as needed.

• Standard Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Lunch: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
• Coverage Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM (Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) when filling in for onsite Property Managers

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple apartment communities.
• Provide leadership and support to onsite staff and community teams.
• Manage leasing activity, renewals, rent collections, and resident relations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and community standards.
• Prepare reports, monitor budgets, and assist with financial performance goals.
• Maintain accurate resident files, leasing records, and property documentation.
• Coordinate vendor services and monitor property maintenance needs.
• Support occupancy goals through leasing initiatives and resident retention efforts.
• Address resident concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure properties remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Property Management experience within the multifamily housing industry required.
• Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience with a proven track record of resident satisfaction and conflict resolution.
• Thorough understanding of Fair Housing laws and property management best practices.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred, but not required.
• Experience with AppFolio property management software is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, properties, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining high operational standards.
• Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service, resident satisfaction, and community success.
