Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join our property management team in Santa Rosa, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with affordable housing programs, tax credit compliance, and leasing operations while providing exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents through the leasing process.
• Process rental applications and verify income, assets, and eligibility according to LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing and tax credit regulations.
• Complete resident certifications, recertifications, and required documentation.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records.
• Assist with resident retention and community outreach efforts.
• Support occupancy goals and leasing performance.

Qualifications

• Previous property management and leasing experience required.
• Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) and affordable housing programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with property management software is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
