Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join our property management team in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience with affordable housing programs, tax credit compliance, and leasing operations while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and prospective tenants.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct community tours and assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process.
• Process rental applications and verify eligibility in accordance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing and tax credit regulations.
• Complete resident certifications, recertifications, and file audits.
• Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate leasing records and resident files.
• Support occupancy goals through effective leasing and marketing efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing or property management experience required.
• Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) and affordable housing communities preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with property management software is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
