📍 Location: Indianapolis, IN 46205

💲 Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

🕒 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Position Summary

The HVAC Apartment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes, community buildings, and common areas while ensuring all HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems, responding to maintenance requests, and completing general apartment maintenance duties.

This position requires a dependable, self-motivated professional who can work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship in a resident-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
• Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Diagnose heating and cooling system issues and recommend solutions
• Complete apartment turns and prepare vacant units for new residents
• Perform general maintenance repairs as needed throughout the property
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs
• Maintain common areas and community facilities
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and property management staff

Qualifications

✅ Previous multifamily apartment maintenance experience preferred

✅ Strong HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills

✅ Knowledge of general apartment maintenance practices

✅ Experience with:

• Heating and cooling systems
• Preventative maintenance
• Service request completion
• Apartment turns and make-readies
• General repair work

✅ Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities

✅ Strong customer service and communication skills

✅ Reliable transportation required

✅ Own tools are highly preferred

✅ Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

✅ Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver maintenance equipment and materials as needed
