BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Porter/Groundskeeper to support a multifamily apartment community in the Gardner, KS area. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Position Details

• Role: Porter / Groundskeeper
• Location: Gardner, KS
• Pay: $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Additional Requirements: Some weekends and on-call availability may be required
• Opportunities: Contract and Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
• Clean breezeways, common areas, sidewalks, and parking lots
• Assist with apartment trash-outs and unit preparation for new residents
• Perform light painting and basic property maintenance as needed
• Ensure amenities, laundry rooms, and community areas remain clean and presentable
• Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and property damage
• Assist maintenance staff with projects and daily tasks
• Follow all community safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous porter, groundskeeper, janitorial, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
