Leasing Agent

📍 Location: Olathe, KS

💲 Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

🕒 Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM. Occasional weekends may be required based on leasing needs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused and motivated Leasing Agent to join our team in Olathe, KS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting prospective residents throughout the leasing process, maintaining positive resident relationships, and supporting occupancy goals through exceptional customer service and sales efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct apartment tours and guide prospective residents through the leasing process
• Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, and in-person leasing inquiries
• Prepare lease agreements and process rental applications
• Maintain accurate resident, prospect, and leasing records
• Assist with resident retention efforts by providing excellent customer service and coordinating lease renewals
• Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to support leasing and occupancy goals
• Ensure model units and common areas are clean, organized, and ready for tours
• Support community marketing initiatives, resident events, and outreach activities
• Collaborate with property management staff to ensure a positive resident experience

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of leasing, property relations, customer service, or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales and customer service experience required
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
