💲 Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

🕒 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

☕ Lunch: 1-Hour Unpaid Lunch Break

Position Summary

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and community amenities to ensure a safe, attractive, and comfortable living environment for residents. This role requires a well-rounded maintenance professional who can complete service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with apartment turns and property upkeep.

The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-service oriented, and capable of troubleshooting and repairing a variety of maintenance issues throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the property
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready units
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in occupied and vacant apartments
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, disposals, and fixtures
• Complete minor electrical repairs and lighting replacements
• Assist with appliance troubleshooting and repairs
• Perform drywall repairs, painting, and basic carpentry work
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of common areas and amenities
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance concerns
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications

✅ Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, or property maintenance experience preferred

✅ Working knowledge of:

• General maintenance and repair techniques
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Basic electrical troubleshooting
• Appliance repair and maintenance
• Drywall repair and painting
• Carpentry and general handyman skills

✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

✅ Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities

✅ Professional attitude and strong customer service skills

✅ Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

✅ Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials as needed

✅ Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
