Lead Maintenance Technician (HVAC & CPO Certified)- Glendale, CA 91205

Pay: $30-$35/hr (Based on Experience) Schedule: Monday - Friday

We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our exceptional team at a Class A+ luxury apartment community. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional resident experience.

This role requires an individual who can effectively lead maintenance operations, handle resident needs professionally, and maintain the high standards expected in a luxury multifamily environment. Experience with mini-split HVAC systems, along with HVAC and CPO certifications, is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with the daily maintenance operations of the community.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including mini-split systems.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure work is completed to company standards.
• Perform and supervise repairs related to plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and drywall.
• Maintain community amenities, including pool equipment and facilities.
• Train, mentor, and support maintenance team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in emergency and on-call maintenance rotations.

Qualifications

Required:

• EPA HVAC Certification
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification
• Experience servicing and troubleshooting mini-split HVAC systems
• 3+ years of multifamily maintenance experience
• Previous Lead Maintenance or senior maintenance experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects effectively
