Pay: $18-20/hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

BG Staffing is seeking a personable and motivated Apartment Leasing Consultant to support a thriving apartment community in Olathe, KS. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service while helping prospective residents find their next home.

Position Details

• Role: Apartment Leasing Consultant
• Location: Olathe, KS 66062
• Pay: $18-20/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
• Additional: Occasional weekends may be required based on leasing needs
• Opportunities: Contract and Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Conduct apartment tours and guide prospective residents through the leasing process
• Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, and in-person leasing inquiries
• Prepare lease agreements and process rental applications accurately
• Maintain resident and prospect files with attention to detail
• Provide exceptional customer service to support resident retention and lease renewals
• Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to help achieve occupancy goals
• Ensure model apartments and common areas are clean, organized, and tour-ready
• Assist with community marketing initiatives, resident events, and outreach activities
• Support daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient leasing experience

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of apartment leasing, property relations, or customer service experience preferred
• Sales and customer service experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (property management software experience preferred)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
