BG Staffing is seeking two skilled and dependable HVAC Certified Maintenance Technicians to support a multifamily apartment community in Kansas City, MO 64155. This opportunity is ideal for experienced maintenance professionals who are HVAC certified, can independently complete general maintenance work orders, and are comfortable using a mobile work order application on their cell phone. The client is open to hiring qualified candidates permanently if it's a great fit.

Position Details

• Role: HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician
• Location: Kansas City, MO 64155
• Pay: $24.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

• Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders accurately and efficiently
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems (EPA/HVAC Certification required)
• Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
• Use a mobile work order application on your cell phone to receive and complete assigned tasks
• Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation as needed
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents and staff
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Requirements

• EPA/HVAC Certification required
• Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
• Ability to perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs independently
• Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile work order application
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and customer service skills
