About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join our property management team in Brazos Bend, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in affordable housing, LIHTC compliance, and leasing operations while providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and lease apartments in accordance with Fair Housing and LIHTC regulations.
• Conduct property tours and present community amenities to prospective residents.
• Process rental applications, income verifications, certifications, and recertifications.
• Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with all affordable housing requirements.
• Achieve occupancy and leasing goals through proactive outreach and resident retention efforts.
• Respond to resident inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist with community events and resident relations initiatives.
• Work closely with management to ensure regulatory compliance and property performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leasing experience; affordable housing or tax credit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, income calculations, and compliance regulations.
• Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), or similar certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or equivalent.Fort Worth, TX 76106
