Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician

BG Staffing is actively seeking two highly skilled and dependable Certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team. Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep, functionality, and readiness of apartment homes. You will be responsible for completing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing units for new residents with a strong attention to quality and detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete HVAC-related maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general maintenance service requests, including diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
• Prepare apartment units for move-in readiness, ensuring all systems and finishes meet high standards
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance across the property
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure resident satisfaction and operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for well-rounded professionals with the following experience:

• HVAC certification (required)
• Strong working knowledge of general maintenance tasks
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Electrical systems
  • Appliance repair
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Candidates with well-rounded, multi-trade experience (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, appliance repair, and HVAC) are especially encouraged to apply.
