BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high‑quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents. 

Position Details 

• Role: Certified Maintenance Technician 
• Location:  South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
• Pay: $26/hr 
• Schedule:  Mon-Fri 8am-5pm lunch 12-1
• Start Date:  ASAP
• Opportunity Type: Contract or Contract‑to‑Hire 

Responsibilities 

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally 
• Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including: 
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA certification required) 
• Electrical repairs 
• Plumbing repairs 
• Appliance diagnostics and repair 
• Carpentry and general maintenance 
• Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation 
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities 
• Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude 
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards 

Requirements 

• EPA or HVAC certification required 
• Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred 
• Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions 
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently 
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented 
• Strong communication and customer service skills
